Red Kite has experience in perforating and cutting stuck coil tubing in our client’s wells. The equipment utilised is non-explosive and non-hazmat.

Cutting & Perforating Completions

The RCT is a versatile tool and can be used in a large variety of situations to cut tubing from 1-1/4” OD CT up to 9-7/8” casing.

Removing Broken/Loose Flapper Valves

We can offer MCR’s Axial Pyro Torch™ (APT). The APT is a thermite-based system used to direct a plasma output (downward) upon tool initiation. The Axial Pyro Torch™ consists of three separate body sections.

Cut to Release Packers

It's often necessary to utilise Radial Cutting Torches (RCT) to sever the inner mandrel of the completion packer allowing it to unset.

Perforating and Cutting HWDP

The PostLatch™ system allows the ability to run small diameter tools (2.0” and 2.5” OD) to make consecutive cuts in the same plane.

Plug and Abandon Solutions

This includes perforating completion tubing and casing for circulation purposes and cutting casings up to 9-7/8” (currently), utilising the Radial Cutting Torch (RCT).
